Research Lab -- Ethical Use of Research In-Person / Online
You will learn to identify pitfalls to avoid with respect to plagiarism, as well as how best to use the information you have researched in your papers or projects. By the end of the session, we hope that you will be able to:
- Understand the difference between original work, summarizing, paraphrasing, and direct quoting
- Use the information from your notes effectively
- Create bibliographic citations and footnotes using the Chicago Manual of Style, Turabian, and SBL
