Dungeons & Dragons -- Session Zero

Dungeons & Dragons -- Session Zero In-Person

Come join the first session of the Library's in-person Dungeons and Dragons 5e game. We encourage both new and veteran players! The campaign is set in a well-developed world that Dora (the DM) has been using for more than a decade. There are some library research elements integrated into the story, but then, what good quest doesn't require some fact-finding?

This is the Session Zero for the campaign, in which I introduce the world, we discuss boundaries and world idiosyncracies, and you work on what kind of character you want to play. If you are new to role playing games, this is a really important time to get your questions answered in an "above the table" time, as well as a chance to set up a dndbeyond* account, if you want to use that service.

*Dndbeyond is free to create character sheets, and I share all the relevant books that you will need to play, so you don't have to pay for anything.
