Technology Tea: Saving Research Strategies in EBSCO

Technology Tea: Saving Research Strategies in EBSCO In-Person / Online

Join Dora for tea, gluten free scones, jam, and non-dairy whipped "cream." If you are joining us online, please make yourself a cup of tea and a sweet! This week, we will take a deeper dive into using the Library's EBSCO databases by creating Projects that will save not only specific resources, but also entire search strategies complete with narrowed facets. This will allow you to run the search more than once to find newly published research. The actual workshop session runs for about half an hour, but I will remain in the lab and online for another half hour for questions and socializing.

In this workshop, we will discuss:

  • What EBSCO does and does not save automatically
  • A quick review of narrowing searches by facet
  • Creating a Research Project and saving both searches and resources to it
